  Get to know the CCFD

Organized firefighting came into existence in Cache County around the year 1880, when Logan City formed a volunteer fire department after a specifically costly fire.

In the early 1900's, other fire departments were formed as Cache County's small communities realized the need for fire protection.

In 1966 the Cache County Fire District was formed, to ensure that fire protection would be available to the residents and businesses in unincorporated lands in Cache County.

The history of the fire service in Cache County is just as storied as any other part of the United States, and this section will allow you to become familiar with the changes that has brought the CCFD to it's present state.

You may check back to see how the progress on this section of the site is going, and when links are available they will be in a menu at the top of this page.

Thanks for your visit and we hope you enjoy your stay and come back to see us again!
