The Cache County Fire District is comprised of an administrative organization maintained by the Cache County Corporation, and 12 individual departments that are governed and maintained by the municipality in which they reside.

In the CCFD Administration, there are 8 administrative positions (3 full-time and 5 part-time) who are employees of Cache County Corporation.

These employees oversee the daily responsibilities of fire suppression, prevention, hazmat and wildland response in Cache County, and support the individual departments mentioned above, in their efforts to protect the communities and the un-incorporated areas within their response zone.

Cache County also employs as paid on-call members 25 hazmat technicians and 25 wildland firefighters.

Of the 12 departments who provide fire protection, 11 are all volunteer, or combinations of full-time administration, part-time and volunteer line personnel.

The City of Logan Fire & EMS is a full-time administration and full-time line personnel department with 2 stations in Zone 7. Visit their website for any employment information and contact information that may be available.

Each fire and EMS agency accepts applications for employment under their own guidelines and it is best to contact the fire department in your community to learn about the requisites that exist for volunteer, part-time or full-time employment.

On the EMS side of the house, the CCEMS Authority operates the Cache County Ambulance Service with part-time personnel, and there are a number of volunteer medical units located in the municipalities. These agencies may or may not be part of the fire department in that community.

Requirements for EMS responders also vary by agency, contact the agency in your community for employment requisites if interested in EMS response.
