There are no
positions open at this time The Cache
County Fire District is comprised of an administrative organization
maintained by the Cache County Corporation, and 12 individual
departments that are governed and maintained by the municipality in
which they reside.
In the CCFD
Administration, there are 8 administrative positions (3 full-time
and 5 part-time) who are employees of Cache County Corporation.
These employees oversee the daily responsibilities of fire
suppression, prevention, hazmat and wildland response in Cache
County, and support the individual departments mentioned above, in
their efforts to protect the communities and the un-incorporated
areas within their response zone.
Cache County also employs as paid on-call members 25 hazmat
technicians and 25 wildland firefighters.
Of the 12 departments who provide fire
protection, 11 are all volunteer, or combinations of full-time
administration, part-time and volunteer line personnel.
The City of Logan Fire & EMS is a full-time
administration and full-time line personnel department with 2
stations in Zone 7. Visit their

Each fire and EMS agency accepts
applications for employment under their own guidelines and it is
best to contact the fire department in your community to learn about
the requisites that exist for volunteer, part-time or full-time
employment.
On the EMS side of the house, the CCEMS
Authority operates the Cache County Ambulance Service with part-time
personnel, and there are a number of volunteer medical units located
in the municipalities. These agencies may or may not be part of the
fire department in that community.
Requirements for EMS responders also vary by
agency, contact the agency in your community for employment
requisites if interested in EMS response.
